We've done a quick summary of all the Senior Rotax Max drivers fastest laps from the Shenington Super One round.  It excludes timed qualifying - but that was on wets so shouldn't affect this.  The drivers times will have been affected by which heats they were in - some maybe got more damp heats than others.

Fastest time was set by Mitchell bayer-Goldman at 42.38 seconds.  Martyn set 10th fastest time.  table on next page -  click the "read more.." link below to see the full table

The S1 official rsults are now available on the S1 website www.s1series.co.uk. 

We have now updated our results based on that. 

So here is the now official calculation of the points table , updated to reflect information from the Super One website www.s1series.co.uk .  

As the championship is based on drivers counting their best 5 scores from 6 rounds we have sorted the championship table on scores AFTER dropping the lowest one, unlike the S1 "official" website which sorts on total scores. The most noticeable change is that fellow ex-TKM racer Luke Caudle is championshiop leader on dropped scores - well done Luke.

Tough debut but New Chassis showing Promise 

This was Martyn's first try out on his new Gillard chassis and he took to it very quickly.  With some initial guidance from Duncan White of Saltire  Motorsport Martyn was able to get a good initial setup then gradually fine tune the chassis to the conditions and his style

In practice Martyn was pretty much on the pace.  He was as fast and faster than many of the established top drivers in the Rotax Max class, but to be fair the clas is so close in terms of lap times and there are many drivers all within hundredths of each other.

Timed qualifying was held late Saturday afternoon  in 3 sessions - Martyn was in session 2.....
