Maxxis TKM Festival 2005 - Scottish Drivers Roll of Honour
Stuart Warnock

drove really well but just missed out on making the Elite Final.  Had a great drive to finish 2nd (should have been 1st Stuart!) but then was excluded for missing out the seal numbers on his scrutineering card - gutted!!!

Ross Fenty

Now driving a new Venom (traitor....) also just missed out on the Elite Final was having a fairly robust dice for 3rd before spinning off near the end (didn't see or hear exactly what happened) - he still finished a good 11th.

Scott Craw

drove really well and qualified for the Elite Final - but was spun off at the start of the pre-final so started way-back in the final. - He showed as a DNF but we didn't find out what happened (yet)

Steven Napier

- great driving to 7th in qualifying, 19th, 2nd  and DNF (chain came off) in heats. Worse was to come - in the pre-final - working through the pack - his chain guard worked loose and he was forced to retire.  Setting off from the back of the grid in the Elite final he finished a very credible 13th.

Mark Hobson

6th fastest in qualifier, then 7th, 12th and DNF in the heats - then another DNF in the pre final leaving him a lot to do - he finished 20th in the final.

Steven Playfair
- did really well on his first visit: 20th fastest in qualifier, then 22nd, 21st and 23rd in the heats.  It got better from here on with a 14th in the pre final - followed by a 16th in the final - setting the 2nd fastest lap of the race - well done!
Lauren Keiller
- first time at the track - qualified 18th in her session then finished 26th, 22nd, 22nd in the heats but had a DNF in the "B" final - don't know what happened there?
Jaymie McBlaine
- also first timer finished 15th in qualifier, then 19th, 12th and DNF in heats put him in the "B" final where he also DNF's - hard luck Jaymie.
Ian Munro
- qualified 20th then finished 24th, 18th and 18th in the heats putting him into the B final too.  He had a good drive to finish in 6th place.
Richard Crozier
- qualified 23rd in his session then finished 2nd (well done), 20th and 13th in his heats, 23rd in his pre-final and then 17th in the Festival Cup.
Anthony Lester
- 16th in qualifier, then 7 14 and 9 in the heats.  Disaster in pre final though - it looked like rain - he put on wets - it dried and he wend rapidly backwards to finish 25th.  In the final he worked through to finish a good 12th
Zack Daines
- 11th in qualifier - then 16th, 11th and 10 in the heats.  Similar story to Anthony in the pre final but hung on to finish 17th.  In the final worked up to finish a good 11th.
Wayne McCauley
- one of only 3 Scots to make the Elite final.  Qualified 18th - then 10th, 13th and 2nd in the heats followed by 25th in the Elite Pre final and 21st in the Elite Final .
Kris Baillie
qualified 14th - then finished 9th, 2nd and 6th in his heats.  A DNF in the Elite pre-final put him at the back of the grid for the final - but despite that he finished a great 13th.
Peter Moore
,qualified 12th, then finished 14th, 9th and 4th in the heats followed by 11th in the Elite Pre-final.  He went on the finish a fantastic 12th in the Elite Final
